Terms of sale
Last updated November 5, 2026.
Who you’re buying from
Emberbreak, a business of Ridgewell Home, a trade name of M3 Group, LLC (“we”, “us”). When you buy from this site, M3 Group, LLC is the seller. Questions: [email protected].
What we sell
Wildfire retrofit parts, each listed with the openings or sizes it fits. A listing with a price and an Add to cart button is for sale. Anything else is sold by quote: we reply with the manufacturer, model, price, shipping, and dispatch date, and nothing is charged until you accept and pay.
Plans
We write a home plan from the measurements and photos you send. Written fit rules pick the parts and quantities, and a person reviews them before a project goes on sale. A plan is not an inspection, a code determination, or an insurance determination, and we rely on the measurements and photos being accurate.
Prices, tax, and shipping
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout from the delivery address, where it applies. We ship by ground to the lower 48 states and DC: $9.95 per shipment for parcels and $18.00 per long box for gutter guards. Freight to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories is quoted before you pay; if an order to one of them is paid at the standard rate, we contact you with the difference, or refund it, before it ships. The cart shows the boxes, whether they ship together, the dispatch window, and the total before you pay. Delivery dates depend on the carrier.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. An order is accepted when the payment is confirmed to us.
Returns and wrong fits
Within 30 days. Ask for a return within 30 days of delivery, from your order page.
Unused, in the box. Parts come back unused, uninstalled, and in their packaging. A part that was cut, caulked, or fastened can’t come back unless it’s defective or we approved the wrong fit.
Who pays to send it back. If we approved the wrong fit, sent the wrong part, or it arrived damaged, we send a prepaid label. Otherwise you pay the return shipping, and the original shipping isn’t refunded.
Cut-to-length and special orders. Seals and mesh cut to your size, and parts ordered from a manufacturer for your project, are final sale unless they’re defective or we approved the wrong fit.
If we approved the wrong fit. When a part we approved from your measurements and photos doesn’t fit, we send the part that does, at no charge, with a prepaid label for the first one. Or, if you’d rather, a full refund including shipping. We also fix the rule or the call that let it through.
Refunds. Refunds go back to the card you paid with within 5 business days of the part reaching us. No restocking fee.
Ask for a return from your order page. The full policy is at /returns.
Programs and paperwork
Our pages about insurance rules, grants, rebates, tax breaks, and other programs are general information gathered from public sources, with the date we last checked each one. Programs change, and they and your insurer decide eligibility and amounts. The documents we prepare are built from what you tell us. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or insurance advice, and we don’t promise any discount, grant, rebate, or tax benefit.
Installers
Installers we refer are independent licensed contractors, not our employees or agents. Your agreement for the work is with them. We share only what you agree to on the request form, and we don’t charge you for a referral.
Limits
We sell each part as described in its listing and in its manufacturer’s documents, and manufacturer warranties pass through to you. Beyond that, and beyond any warranty the law gives you that can’t be waived, we don’t make other promises about the parts or about how a house will fare in a fire. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for an order is what you paid for it, and we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where M3 Group, LLC is organized. If something goes wrong, tell us first at [email protected] and we’ll try to fix it within 30 days. If we can’t, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court, or in the courts where you live. Nothing here takes away a right your state’s consumer protection law gives you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version date is at the top; the terms in effect when you order apply to that order.
