RIDGEWELL

What brings you here

Moving into a home

Test before boxes fill the basement. A short-term kit gives a first number in about two weeks, with the next step for that number.

Buying or selling

Closing date coming? The finder checks your state’s rules and timeline and tells you whether a kit works or a licensed tester is required.

An inspection finding

Have a radon result or a wildfire inspection report? Start from what it says. We explain the number, or turn the findings into a parts list.

Your insurer asked

Some insurers and state programs credit specific retrofit work. Emberbreak shows which rules apply where you live and builds the record they ask for.

Fire season prep

Vents, gutters, the garage door, exterior gaps, and the first five feet. Do one project this weekend or plan the whole house.

Questions

Who is Ridgewell Home?

Ridgewell Home is a trade name of M3 Group, LLC, the seller of record for every order. It runs two businesses: Ridgewell Radon (radon test kits and laboratory reports) and Emberbreak (wildfire retrofit plans and parts).

Is there one account for both?

Not yet. Each business has its own sign-in by emailed link, and the same email address works in both. My Home links to each.

How long does a radon test take?

A short-term kit runs 2 to 4 days; from order to laboratory report is usually 11 to 20 days with standard shipping. A long-term kit runs 91 days or more for a yearly average. Lab analysis and return postage are included in the kit price.

Will Emberbreak parts get me an insurance discount?

Only your insurer or the program decides that. We show which rules apply in your state and county, which of your projects they name, and what proof they ask for, and we build the paperwork from the work you actually completed.

Where do you ship?

Radon kits ship to all 50 states and DC. Emberbreak parts ship to all 50 states and DC; Alaska, Hawaii, and territories get a freight quote first.

What if something goes wrong?

A person replies within one business day. Radon: a free replacement the first time a sample cannot be analyzed. Emberbreak: if we approved a part from your measurements and it doesn’t fit, we send the one that does at no charge.
