About this kit
An alpha-track detector that stays in place for 91 days to 12 months. Radon rises and falls with weather and heating, so a long-term result is the best basis for a decision about mitigation.

Questions
How accurate is this test?
The laboratory reports every result with its measurement uncertainty and detection limit. Radon varies by day and season, so the EPA asks for a second test before mitigating on a short-term result at or above 4 pCi/L, and recommends a long-term test for the yearly average.
What if I mail it late?
The lab accepts a device up to 30 days after the stop time. Past that it cannot be analyzed; we send a replacement at no charge the first time.
Is the lab fee really included?
Yes. The price covers the device, analysis, return postage, reminders, and your report. Nothing to pay when you mail the sample.
Can I share the report?
Yes. Every report has a PDF download and a share link that is read-only and revocable.
